In a 3–5 page editorial letter, I’ll provide an in-depth overview of your work's potential and strengths, as well as areas that could be improved. Touching on plot, pacing, character, voice, and market suitability, I’ll arm you with the tools you need for a successful revision, or help you determine if your latest revision is on track.

For writers who are preparing to publish independently or who know they need a hand spotting errors and cleaning up their writing before sharing with authors and agents, I offer copyediting services. I’ll thoroughly review your manuscript for spelling, grammar, correctness, continuity, and consistency with the Chicago Manual of Style.

Query review ($200)
Whether you’re prepping for submission and need a last set of eyes to confirm that your query is in perfect shape, or you’ve been reaching out to agents or editors for a while without receiving many nibbles, I’m on your side. I’ll review your query for flow, clarity, voice, marketability, technical correctness, and overall appeal, and send you detailed feedback to help you improve your first contact with gatekeepers.

Marketing strategy session ($200)
​New to publishing and promoting your work, or looking for ways to step up your game? Get the advice of an expert as you decide how the time and resources you have available are best spent. Whatever your ideas and budget are—and even if you don’t have either—we’ll discuss practical and achievable steps you can take to help your work reach a wider audience, and I’ll help you fit the promotional activities you’re most excited about into a larger strategy so you get the most bang for your (literal or metaphorical) buck.
